George & Dragon Inn

We have been coming here for years and have good memories of a variety of breakfast options, including cooked breakfasts, included. The basic continental breakfast doesn’t match it but is ok.

Rooms cost a lot more than they used to and the breakfast is not nearly as good as in the past. The decor and bathroom could do with refreshing.

Staff were helpful, friendly and polite. Lovely outdoor facilities.. rooms were clean and comfortable. Food excellent 👌

Staff were really helpful and friendly. It was well located with a car park in walking distance. Breakfast okay ( continental) and again staff were nice

The accommodation is basic. The blanket on our bed was torn and stained. The bedsheets were clean and bed comfortable. Shower was tiny, slippery and water only just hot enough plus nowhere to put any toiletries in the bathroom. Towels were okay.

We did not stay and were waiting on the refund as they had no hot water

Stayed before but better.

First time staying at the George and Dragon and can't recommend it enough. Owner and staff were great and served by far the best three patty smash burger I've ever had. Would definitely stay again.

The mattress could do with a topper.
