"If you like piece and quiet,and don't have a family,then this is a lovely place to stay."

The lodge is very remote and quiet and is surrounded by countryside.The staff were very friendly and acommodating,and once you are informed of your room and time of breakfast you are left alone. The rooms are very spacious and well firnished.The beds are very comfortable,and the breakfast is served with a smile and is very good and varied.

The Wi-Fi in the lodge is very slow and irratic.Normaly this would not be an issue,but because of the location of the lodge,you would have to travel to find entertainment. There is a tv in the room,but we normaly surf the internet,unfortunately you cannot do at the lodge do to the poor internet speed.

We found the lodge very comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast. However we were expecting an evening meal but we were not informed that it was necessary to book this in advance. As a consequence it was necessary to drive to the nearest village to eat which was disappointing.

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, quiet rural location.

Lack of flexibility over evening meal - you have to book ahead and there is no leeway if you haven't. We hadn't clocked this, perhaps could be featured more prominently by booking.com
