Hotel Alpine Mugon

Hotel molto bello, pulito e curato, camere confortevoli e personale gentile. La spa è piacevole e ben tenuta, ideale per rilassarsi. L'unica nota davvero negativa è che, pur essendo ospiti dell'hotel, bisogna pagare a parte il noleggio di telo e accappatoio per accedere alla spa. In una struttura di questo livello mi aspetterei che questo servizio fosse incluso nel soggiorno. È un dettaglio che lascia un po' l'amaro in bocca e che, secondo me, dovrebbe essere rivisto. Per il resto, esperienza positiva.

La struttura e la zona piscina

Frühstücksbuffet war toll.

Für das preis- leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Es muss nicht immer Lachs und Kaviar sein. Ein Lächeln macht die Seele satt.

Hotel room: We travelled as a family (two adults, one kid) and we got a corner room on the third floor. The room was very spacious, bright with a large bathroom and a big comfy bed and sofa bed. Nice minimal decoration with plenty of timber which matched nicely the mountain scenery. The balcony was probably the biggest balcony I had in a hotel, it even had patio furniture and nice mountain view. Staff: All the employees where friendly, polite and helpful. Special cheers to the lady that was managing the restaurant. Super fast, friendly and with nice recommendations for dinner. Breakfast: The first day the breakfast was amazing. Great variety of fresh things, pastry, bread, eggs mushrooms etc. Continental but better than average. Unfortunately that did not continue. See the negatives for the rest. Restaurant: Fairly standard food but well made and good for the price we paid (29 pp for the whole menu)

Breakfast (2nd and 3rd day): After having an amazing breakfast the first day, we looked forward to the breakfast next morning. However, that disappointed us. At 9 am (1 whole hour before the end of breakfast) a lot of things where finished (eggs, croissants, cheese ham etc) and not replenished. Also some of the fruit and greens (fx watermellon, cucumber) where from the previous day. Which is fine as long as they are in good condition. These were not. The next day was more of the same. We waited a whole hour for new scrambled eggs as we found them empty at 9 am. They eventually came about 10 minutes before the end and were not like day one. Our understanding was that the kitchen was probably understaffed the two bad days. Not a very good experience. SPA area: That was probably the biggest disappointment of the hotel and unfortunately was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. First of all. The pool water was blurry, and the kids area of the pool smelled bad. I am not sure at all about the hygiene situation in this pool. A lot of people used it of course but that's one more reason to maintain the filters and do proper treatment of the water. The wellness area was even worse. Usually when you get in a spa you smell essential oils. When I entered this area it smelled like a toilet. All humid areas (Turkish bath, roman bad frigidarium, the cave jacuzzi thing) smelled like mold, especially the jacuzzi that I did not dare to use. The only places you could breath normally without something smelling terrible was the saunas due to the extreme heat that disinfected them. My impression was that this whole spa area needs to be shut down and thoroughly disinfected before used again.

Das SPA war wunderbar. Essen Frühstück Buffet (abends teilweise Buffet) Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Sehr schönes Zimmer. Tiefgaragenplatz (für 5 €/Tag)
