Clean, organised, comfortable, good breakfast

This was my fisrt solo trip staying away on my own. The room was perfect and i felt right at home as soon as i entered. Just what i needed after a day of hiking. I can't fault this hotel one bit even if i wanted to. I was so impressed and will be booking again in the future.

Quiet and nice B&B

Self check in was excellent, found my room easily instructions were easy. Only thing which was the breakfast it said scan the menu choices there was no scanner but put it in the document tray. Breakfast was good and came quickly. It was hectic but for the amount guests as low season but everything was eventually sorted out as just one person serving she did her best under the pressure! Room was well presented and clean. Bathroom was very clean and modern. For the money I paid I got absolute bargain and highly recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic stay at this lovely family ran B&B. Check in was a breeze and communicated clearly via email. Plenty of parking on site and a short 2 minute walk to the local village pub which did home cooked meals. Clean well equipped room with a very comfy bed. Pre order breakfast the evening before via booking slip at reception. Breakfast the following day was freshly cooked and served by a friendly and efficient member of the team. Well worth a stop over if you’re in the lakes and fancy a night or two getaway but still close enough to exploring the local area including Keswick.

Would be very happy to stay there again. Value for money with lovely breakfast. Happy friendly atmosphere. Would benefit from shelving in bathroom to put your wash bags on. Also a table/dressing table for ladies to do makeup and hair etc. (Room 5)

Nice stay and would go back. Clean, simple room with comfy beds. Warm enough with a big radiator. Good hot shower. Seems enough parking for a car per room. Breakfast was great, with good coffee and attentive staff. 20 minute flat walk into keswick if needed. Be warned, the walls in the rooms are paper thin, to the extent of hearing neighbouring rooms talking, flushing toilets etc. Thanfully for our stay the hotel was "settled" by just after 9 and it was ok. I'd recommend taking earplugs incase of a noisy adjoinong room or you'll be in for a rough night. Dissapointingly guests cannot use the electric car charger which would have saved us a hassle of charging in keswick to get home. We would have obviously been happy to pay aswell, sure this could change as demand increases. Easy acces to hotel which was communicated via email.
