Very helpful And friendly, very welcoming

The hosts were super friendly and very helpful.

Everything was lovely, and they had Netflix on the TV, brilliant.

Very comfortable and clean , host are really lovely and helpful, milk , yoghurts , fruit and juice in the fridge tea, coffee etc , on a main road but it was very quiet even being at the front of the house, great as it’s dog friendly our dog loved it

A sit down breakfast would be nice but an effort had been made to think of everything

The room was clean and the breakfast items provided there was plenty. There was parking.

When I booked this room, I immediately messaged through booking.com that we had a dog with us. When we arrived a couple of days later, it appeared to be a suprise that we had a dog. I eventually received a message back through booking.com in the evening after we had checked in from the owner saying it was fine to have the dog and it would cost a £10 supplement, which was fine. Of course, for the first time in his life, our dog suddenly & unexpectedly became very ill with colitis in the night, resulting in having to take him to an emergency vet at 9am. He had defecated blood in two spots on the carpet of the room and on the corner of a bed cover. It was extremely stressful and when we returned before 10am, we were about to try and clean the room. My wife let the owner know what had happened and she stated that we would have to pay for a further night's stay, as she couldn't rent the room out and also charged us £50 for a carpet cleaner. We were told that we wouldn't have had to pay if we had been in a dog friendly room, as there was no carpet in there. We paid, as our dog had made indeed made a mess. I think it was very unfair that we were punished for not being in a 'dog friendly room'.

David and Anne were super hosts and even gave us a lift back to wedding that we attended thank you both
