The breakfast was wonderfully cooked. Steve and Tony are friendly and very hospitable It's a lovely relaxing place, well looked after. My best stay away from ever. I can't better it.

"excellet stay - hosts could not do enough for us"

excellent location very close to the beach - town centre very close - hosts very goods and made us most welcome

my partner thought the bed was a little to hard to sleep on sadly (she is used a medium bed)

The lodge was a flat walk ~ 15min from the train station. The room was clean and not overcrowded with space to put our carry-on luggage, we were also provided with housecoats and slippers! Slept well in the comfortable beds, the lodge is located in a quiet area. Breakfast was delicious! Homemade cookies were such a treat. Had a wonderful stay with the hosts Steve and Tony, unfortunately due to flight plans we where only able to stay one night - wish we could have stayed longer.

We used to live in the area and travel to Bridlington most years to visit old friends. We have stayed in various guest houses in the past but once we'd discovered South Lodge we never stayed anywhere else. Steve and Tony are brilliant hosts nothing is too much trouble. South Lodge is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are simply the best. The location is in a very pleasant residential area close to the South Beach and a short walk from the town.

Nothing. We couldn't find anything to criticise.
