Savoy Hôtel

Great stay as always, Hôtel is great value and in a great location - Look forward to next years visit!!

klassisches französisches hotel, zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, direkt an der stark befahrenen straße gelegen. frühstück ist gut, u alles ist sehr sauber.

A nice hotel with friendly staff. A bit small and older rooms, but nice and clean. Comfortable but short beds. The food was ok, but no more than that. It's location just a few minutes walk from the ski lift was convenient, especially when walking in ski boots. The gondola up to the mountains was quite long though, took about 25 minutes each way. Brides-les-Bains is not a very exciting place, but we were there for skiing so it didnt matter all that much. Once up in the mountains the skiing is great, especially for off-piste riding it was wonderful. We were lucky and had lots of snow everywhere. All in all we had a great winter holiday. For the price (almost all other hotels was very expensive) Hotel Savoy is recommended, if you dont excpect luxury.

Personnel accueillant , chambre propre et confortable , local à ski chauffé , accès libre au sauna , petit déjeuner très complet et cuisine pour le dîner faite avec des produits frais et très bonne. Excellent rapport qualité prix au global pour un hôtel confortable et sans chichi !

the staff was lovely and friendly and the food was simple but delicious. It seemed many of the people staying there were older (like us) and there to use the thermal baths and eat healthy. This was September so things may be different in summer or during ski season. It is just next to the church and close to everything in town. Quiet, comfortable bed. But hotel was a bit dated and shabby. Paint peeling, dated furniture. Somehow it all balances out.

The hotel has a great location in the centre of the village, close to stores and restaurants. However, if you plan to walk with your skis to the gondola, it is an uphill walk and it is not very close. Try to explore if there is an option to leave your skis at the bottom of the gondola for an overnight storage. We just drove to Courchevel as the snow slushy due to high temperatures at the end of the ski season. There is convenient parking at the back of the building. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety.

Leider ist dieses Hotel überlaufen von russischen Gästen. Leider wissen sich viele davon nicht zu benehmen und das Personal tut nichts dagegen. Zur Gondel für Skifahrer wird gesagt, dass sie 1min entfernt wäre. Es sind aber eher 5 und steil Berg auf, sodass man doch mit dem Auto fahren muss. Überall auf dem Gelände laufen Katzen rum, die überall Ihren Kot hinterlassen, was aber offenbar niemanden stört.
