Thredbo Alpine Hotel

this was base for us to catch the lift to Eagles Nest to walk to Kosciuszcko but that lift was down, and had to walk up must of the way, a tough walk. I altered the plan to walk to Dead Horse Gap. After the difficult climb the descent was reasonable. Facilities at the hotel we're very good as I expected - I've stayed there before - and I was happy both with the services in the hotel and in Thredbo, given the fact it's just after summer.

Two beds put together to make one, one side was a lot softer than the other, made it a little uncomfortable, bit all good otherwise.

Love this place in the off season. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in late May this is the perfect spot. The staff are fantastic and the hotel is cozy and welcoming. We particularly love the lounge and fire area. Beds are comfy. Rooms are warm. Showers are hot. Location is fantastic for the chairlifts and the Coaster. We hope to be back for the third year in a row!
