Le Saint Georges Hotel

I did not have breakfast.

Varm juice, cold coffee, warm water -

Nothing

This hotel was below the standard of a UK Travelodge. The bathroom had dangerous steps. Breakfast had decent flasked coffee. The location was in a dead zone; rat infested streets with wild dogs roaming. Nearest western standard restaurant 15 minutes walk away. Everyone where I worked said how safe Port Louis was but I should avoid being out after 10pm to avoid druggies and pimps. But the killer was the terrible WiFi. Non viable so I checked out on Tuesday rather than Sunday.

I didn’t eat breakfast. Room was clean, sparse but I didn’t need much for 1 night

This hotel met my expectations. It’s a no frills location close to all the things to see in Port Louis. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While the rooms are a little frumpy it was nice to have access to a refrigerator. The AC worked great too. The included breakfast wasn’t anything special but it’s nice to have it as an option.

Friendly helpful and professional staff. I look forward to a return visit!
