Very clean, kind and helpful staff, and a very good budget motel with big comfortable rooms. Complimentary breakfast with good coffee. Ongoing maintenance, painting work etc shows the owners put in a big effort to maintaining standards.

Workmen started maintenance on another nearby room before 8am so woken by hammering and drilling

The room was comfortable, but outdated. Could use some updating of the furniture. The bathtub is old and an older person would have difficulty getting in and out.

Furniture could be updated. Cigarette burns in the desk chair and on the tub.

I like the staff,they are always friendly, I love the location, I liked that it was newly painted, the room smelled better . Overall we love staying there when we go down to visit family. What I don’t like is that the prices went up, with little change. The mattress was very uncomfortable due to the hard lumps, and the mattress was bending down in the middle, and every little move we make in the bed, is really noisy. And another thing that is a health risk for me, is that it is so dusty. The headboard’s of the bed , the walls, the furniture is really dirty. I did some cleaning there in number 14 before we left. I wiped all the table tops, and vanity top,night stand’s, coffee table. But overall the furniture needs a good cleaning, floors are always dirty, sorry to say, but we have never had a clean floor, and furniture, when we rented a room. Yet the price has increased. There has been a 30 dollar per night increase, with little change. The towels, and bed linens are always nice and clean. Breakfast is excellent. Thank you.

Number 1 I didn’t like it that they removed the Bible. I don’t like that the price has increased by 30 dollars per night, with little change. The last two times that we stayed there it was freshly painted, which made a huge difference on the smell in the room’s, I don’t like it that the walls and and all the furniture is so dusty, and dirty. The 30 dollar increase would be worth it, if the mattresses were replaced, that the beds weren’t so loud and noisy, and the furniture, lamps and floor’s would get cleaned. And that the lamps had all the bulbs in, and the plug-ins would get replaced. If we want to plug in our phone’s to charge, some plug’s don’t work, and the chargers just fall out,or they are so loose,it hard to get our phone charged. If the price was still around $70 to 90 per night, like it was the first 2 times we rented a hotel room there, it was worth it as it was. But a 30 dollars or more increase per night, with only freshly painted walls, to me it’s to much. Don’t mean to upset you.and no hard feelings. I’m all about honesty. Yet having said all of that, and pointing it all out, is not going to hinder me to not rent a room from Sexony Hotel. We love and appreciate and enjoy our stay at sexony hotel. I stayed at this place 2 years ago, it was great. It has detoriated alot since then. It was not as clean, noisy and it looked like people were living there. I will not stay there again.
