Very clean and the bed was SO comfy!

It's a tad outdated but very clean and comfortable

Loved the reception guy... at 11 am Saturday Shower was nice pressure. Clean. Everything seems new.

The floor had no rugs and was cold to the bare feet. The bath wall looked like something broke off and they threw a bunch of caulk at it. Awful. No functioning toilet paper holder The light was out on one side of the bed. The light switch on entering did nothing so it was dark. Had to use phone light. My friend said the bed sheet was not long enough for his 5'10 frame and his feet were on the scratchy mattress cover

Liked the downtown location.

Stairs to second floor are treacherous and rooms are small

After an unexpected difficulty with my lodging arranged through Airbnb in Drexel Hill, I was obliged, at the eleventh hour, to secure accommodation for two nights at this modest inn. I did not, however, repent of the decision. Indeed, I felt transported to my eighteenth year once more. Each morning, I strolled for some twenty minutes through the fair and agreeable town of Doylestown (clean, secure, and possessed of a most splendid castle) on my way to the railway station. Thence, a train conveyed me to the very heart of Philadelphia, to Jefferson Station, in a journey of no more than an hour and a quarter to an hour and a half. I occupied myself contentedly with my book throughout the ride. This humble establishment restored to me the forgotten pleasure of leisure : a gentle walk beneath the sun, in wholesome air, followed by more than an hour’s communion with a delightful volume. It was, in truth, a most gratifying experience.

Reasonable price for Doylestown. Close to Fonthill castle and TileWorks. A quick drive to downtown.
