La colazione a buffet non aveva tantissima scelta

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable dans cet hôtel ! La chambre était vraiment bien pensée avec la clim, le triple vitrage qui nous a permis de dormir au calme, et même une moustiquaire - on voit que tout a été prévu pour notre confort. La localisation est un vrai plus : à peine 50 mètres de l'une des plus belles plages de l'île, impossible de faire mieux ! Le petit-déjeuner nous a régalés chaque matin avec de délicieuses viennoiseries fraîches et des spécialités italiennes qu'on ne trouve pas partout. Mais ce qui nous a le plus marqués, c'est vraiment la gentillesse exceptionnelle de toute l'équipe. Mario, notre serveur-barman, était aux petits soins et toujours souriant. Et que dire de Teresa ! Non seulement elle est venue nous chercher au centre de Forio et nous a ramenés à la fin du séjour, mais quand nous avons eu une urgence dentaire, elle nous a trouvé un dentiste dans le village et a même pris le rendez-vous pour nous. C'est ce genre d'attention qui fait toute la différence. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour avoir rendu notre séjour si agréable - on reviendra sans hésiter !

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole in questo hotel. Il personale è stato sempre gentile e accogliente, pronto a darci ottimi consigli su cosa vedere e dove mangiare. La posizione è semplicemente perfetta: a pochi passi dalla spiaggia e ideale come punto di partenza per esplorare tutta l’isola. Il posto è molto tranquillo, perfetto per chi cerca relax. La camera era piccola ma accogliente, estremamente pulita e con un letto davvero comodo, il che ha reso il riposo ancora più piacevole. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca semplicità, comfort e una bella atmosfera!

The location was perfect - it was a couple of metres away from Cava Dell’Isola beach which was, in our opinion, the best beach on the island. The main town Forio was approx 20 minute walk away and Citara was about 10 minute walk with easy access to the Poseidon Spa. The hotel staff were fantastic, available practically all hours for support if needed. Theresa (the owner) went above and beyond, driving us personally to the port so we wouldn’t miss our ferry home. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. We would certainly stay again.

It wasn’t an issue for us, but there are at least 50 steps from the street down to the hotel which would not be suitable for someone who has poor mobility. The walk down to the beachfront also involves steps which aren’t the easiest.

Property is a great location for accessing Forio (~20min walk), yet not being in the busy port area. It’s next to the best beach in Ischia (as voted for by the locals) and has a couple of good bar/restaurants overlooking the beach. Note, the closest restaurants close at 17:30ish, so will have to walk into one of the towns for dinner, or there’s one a 5 min walk but it is £££. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast and the bar is open from 17-20:30 which is lovely to watch the sunset from.

Steps up to the top street are a calf burner! No long/full length mirror in the rooms.
