Hôtel Restaurant Le Filosorma

Galeria is just off the beaten track - a welcome find away from the hustle bustle. The hotel is perfect - we didn't want to leave. Balcony overlooked the sea and very comfortable and quiet. Very personable host who spoke english - a bonus. Evening meal and breakfast both good - enjoyed on the sunny terrace.

The hotel was tired and very dirty. The man at the front desk was very rude. He and his friends smoked and drank at the reception and it was not nice and get there. It was late at night and we had no choice. At night we woke up restless, we found bedbugs in the bed clothes and we had some bites.

The wi-fi was great, super close to the beach, free parking and great scenery! Not very good breakfast though, but the dinner was ok. The town is quiet and it's a good place to relax and recharge. There are two roads to get there from Calvi, we decided to take the less scenic road inland but it was beautiful too!

The location was great. Step out, cross the road and there's the beach. The town is sleepy with only a handful of restaurants. This was early July though, so maybe the season hadn't started yet. Very few other guests. Breakfast was basic, rooms adequate. Corsica is a very expensive place - so this hotel was a rare experience of value for money. A short drive round the corner, follow the river up the valley to Manso was very beautiful. Amazing river swimming and dramatic mountains.
