La Maison des Consuls

The room itself had so many amenities – from fluffy bath robes, to wine glasses and a wine opener, to little caramel candies and bottled water. Plus a Nespresso and a kettle in the room. my room even had a bathtub separate from the shower! The people who work there were so helpful, and the breakfast was amazing. great decor and perfect location.

Fabulous room with a view over the square, it couldn’t have been better. Lovely furniture and decoration in the room. Really good breakfast , the staff were all helpful and we had a really lovely stay.

Very unique boutique style hotel, charming and pretty. Bags of character everywhere. Had upgraded room which was huge. Hotel is positioned in the main square close to bars and restaurants. Plentiful continental style breakfast. Excellent coffee and pastries. Owner was pleasantly chatty and keen to make sure we were satisfied.

There did not appear to be any designated parking for the hotel, but we were out of season so this was not a problem and we parked in the main square right opposite the hotel.

The hotel was lovely & was right in the center looking down upon the historic square & merry-go-round! The sheets & bed were very comfortable & the room was a nice size. I was particularly appreciative of the jacuzzi style tub after we had spent the day hiking. For breakfast, the restaurant had multiple places to sit, we preferred the inner courtyard with interesting photos and objects, the coffee drinks were excellent with the pastries with confits and the fresh made orange juice an extra delight. Our hosts were the best!

my legs were sore from hiking & had to climb the stairs to get to up & down to the room. (not their fault!)

Very quaint, charming hotel. It was right on the main square with 15th C arcaded buildings all around. Fascinating! Staff was attentive and friendly. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was excellent served in another warm and cozy room. We partook of the wine and beer served at outside tables as well. So glad we stayed here!
