Hotel Vía Gótica

Hotel easy to find on corner of main road across the river from the cathedral. A good size single room in fairly modern building, with lift, a few minutes walk from bus station. Café on ground floor.

Not possible to adjust air conditioning other than on/off. Occasional unpleasant smell from drain in shower room.

Convenient location and parking nearly

The location is unbeatable. I had a very early morning bus to catch and Burgos Bus Station was a 3 mins walk away. The bed was clean and very comfortable and the shower pressure and temperature was good too.

Not all lights in the room worked and the toilet seat cover was broken, but otherwise all good.

We've stayed here many times while travelling in northern Spain and it's clean, comfortable and right across the bridge from Burgos cathedral, the Esplanon and the heart of the city. It has a little café and all the staff are friendly and helpful. It's great for a few nights.
