Garden Hotel

内部环境和服务都相当不错，不过周边又有地铁修路，公交非常不方便，打车不太好打，不过离着留园步行3分钟，离着寒山寺也不太远，总体还是不错的，对于如此价格而言，可以打5分。

Highly recommended. Beautiful hotel. Just a few minutes walk from the Lingering Gardens. Staff extremely helpful and always tending to your needs. Most of the staff speak decent English. We stayed in 4 cities around the area (Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shanghai, Wuxi) and this hotel was hands on the best.

I have been traveling around China for a month staying at low cost hotels that mostly served the Chinese. I wanted to experience China as the Chinese people do. These hotels are not the styles of hotels that westerners are use to. The Garden Hotel was the best hotel I stayed in during my one month travel in China. This hotel was very clean and very close to a western style hotel with an eastern decor. If I am ever in Suzhou again, I would stay at the Garden Hotel again.

因为预定的新楼，所以是五星的标准。但因为房间分配的问题，我的这间是朝东的，窗外既是民居，没有酒店的特色景观。还有就是房间在春秋季没有空调，有些冷。早餐凑合吧，没有很惊艳的感觉。但整体还是很不错的，下次还会来

优点是酒店园林风格设计非常优美，附近也较为安静，服务不错，设备都比较干净。缺点是，空调坏了，而且总台说是最近在调试，都不能用，有点莫名其妙，酒店内的设备相对比较旧。

他の人も書いていますが蘇州 にはGarden Hotelが2つあり、このサイトで予約になるホテルはサイトに記載されている蘇州南園賓館ではなく園外楼飯店です。 私はチャーターした車で友人5名と一緒に蘇州南園賓館にチェックインをしようとしたところ予約がないといわれました。確かに予約確認書に書かれた住所はLiu Yuan Road で南園賓館の住所Daichengqiao Roadではありません。 ホテルの人の話ではこのサイトから申し込んだ人達が住所を確認せず、タクシーに南園賓館の名を告げて来る事が多いのだそうです。 南園賓館に行った後で園外楼飯店に来るとホテルの豪華さの違いにがっかりしますが、宿泊料からするとまあまあいいホテルだと思います。 サイトの管理者の方は至急ホテル名の漢字表記を修正したほうがいいと思います。

I had intended to book Garden Hotel (南园宾馆）which is supposedly a historical hotel where Chang Kai Sek and Ong Teng Cheong (ex-president of Singapore) had lodged before. Unfortunately in Hotels.com website, there is a Garden Hotel too. Not knowing the difference, I booked it. This is NOT the famous Garden Hotel. This hotel is a typical Chinese 3-star hotel with lousy room, poor service and inconvenient location. Although it is very near one of the water village (Qili Santang), I would not recommend it. The room was full of cigarette smell despite specifying a non-smoking room (apparently there is no such room). The room wall is so thin that you can hear your neighbors talking. We were so disappointed that we checked out after 1 night despite paying for 2. That was how bad the hotel is. I recommend that Hotels.com warn members that there is another better hotel with the same name or replace this with the better one for booking.

Good location where its quite centrally located. Hotel is clean and has nice chinese garden within the hotel vicinity. Breakfast has good varieties of choice. Will stay again during my next visit and would recommend to friends.

Mon pire hôtel durant mon séjour en Chine. Si la chambre n'avait pas été payée d'avance, j'en serai partie le 1er jour. Les chambres sont salles et mal entretenues : moquettes usées et tachées, les papiers peints sont dans un état déplorable. Du coté des sanitaires, l'eau chaude est au maximum tiède et est légèrement marron... Après cette première approche déjà mauvaise, le pire restait à venir, alors que nous sommes fin novembre, l’hôtel n'a toujours pas mis en route le chauffage et les chambres sont glaciales. Après plusieurs appels à l'accueil, le second jours on finit par nous apporter un radiateur électrique d'appoint qui nous a permis de gagner quelques degrés. L’hôtel est assez mal situé, il faut prendre le taxi pour se rendre dans le centre ville, et il est difficile dans avoir un devant l’hôtel. L’hôtel est très très loin de valoir son prix et les étoiles qu'il affiche. Le seul point positif est le jardin qui est très jolie et typique de Suzhou. Autres info : le petit déjeuner n'est pas cher (25 yuan) mais ne vaut pas plus.
