Residencial Bogamarí

The apartment we got had 3 bedrooms, all with toilets, 2 private areas outside and a barbecue... Everything was amazing. But host was the highlight of our stay! Very nice and always available. Everything was excellent!

Clean, quiet, privacy, great starting point to visit the island.

Some very few things, details, as some few issues in the house not fixed but nothing important.

Pedro was an amazing host and despite a flight delay he was there at 1am to greet us and check us in. He gave us the full tour and was very helpful with all sorts of recommendations for the local area. He always greeted us around the pool area and is such as lovely person to run the place. The villa (number 7) was a little dated but this did add to the authentic feel and charm about the place. The air con was great and well needed in 30 degree heat every day. The beds were comfortable and linen cleaned a couple of times and towels changed every second day which was great. The outside spaces were great, although not sure why only 2 sun loungers for 4 people in the back yard but we managed. We did not use the BBQ but it was all there if we needed it. Lovely sunrise and early morning sun in the yard and then the front of the villa had another large terrace that got the sun all afternoon and into the evening. Nice to sit and relax with a glass of wine. The kitchen area was small but had all we needed as a family of 4. Large fridge freezer that worked well. We did have a problem with ants (being on the ground floor and having food out and in cupbaords). We never reported this as not the owners problem and bough ant/insect killer and it solved the problem. The pool was lovely. A few of the sunbeds were broken and the cabana's needed a bit of repairing but were comfortable. The pool was very quiet and we often had it to ourselves. The steps into the pool were also a little wobbly and could do with a repair. Car parking was great, loads of room and secured with a coded access gate and so close to the villa for transporting luggage. The whole area was so quiet so we always got a good nights sleep. But there were places to east and drink just down the road and San Antonio town was half an hour walk away. 15 mins to O Beach and a few mins drive to large supermarkets.

Not a dislike but some areas for improvement - A full length mirror would be a great addition. Add 4 sun loungers to the yard of the villa. Fix the steps into the pool.

Really peaceful place to stay - really good sized villa, all clean and tidy. Pedro is a wonderful host, someone who takes great pride in their role and couldn’t do enough for you. Position of the place was perfect for us. We hired a car and used it as a base. If you’re looking for ultra modern spec this isn’t the place for you, but it’s got plenty of character, everything works and we will be coming again!
