Hotel Mylos

We only stayed for a night because we used a nearby hotel for the rest of the nights (Smaro Studio), so we could compare. I think our room was nice and clean, but we liked simple things from the other hotel like offering water and fruits at arrival. Our room was right beside a restaurants, so it was a bit noisy at night, but nothing unpleasant. Overall we had a good experience. Panos was very friendly and helpful to resolve our requests.

The manager of the property allowed to check in 3 hours early. He made every effort to make our stay a memorable visit to the island. He gave us his contact info and best ways to reach him if we need anything during our visit. The view from our room during the sunset was breathtaking. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone I know that visit the island.

Great Location near the central fira. The views of the Caldera outside the room is breathtaking. Breakfast provided was great. Most importantly the receptionist / property manager (forgot his name) is extremely helpful and always friendly. Great experience!!

The proprietor, Panus, could not have been more helpful. He responded proactively, and with good humour to all our requests, e.g. printing out maps and bus timetables, providing towels when we went swimming, offering help to carry our cases to the pick-up point for the return transfer and also to help when the pickup was late. He would be helpful for booking trips, if they weren’t already booked. The breakfast was a continental and more than adequate, with choices including: fruit juices; tea, coffee, etc; cereals and muesli; cake, bread, butter, cheese and turkey slices, jam. The accommodation comprised a double bedroom with air-conditioning, and a bathroom with shower. The room was cleaned, and the towels were changed daily. The pickup point (Saint Gerasimos Church, Firostephani) for the hotel is about 100 yards away, on footpaths. This pick up point was used for our arrival/departure, for day trips and for the (very) local bus. Buses (only) run from/to Fira to the main towns on the island.

Hotel was well located, clean, the service and staff were great and very accommodating and the views were spectacular.

Last minute booking because we changed accommodation, but Panos was very friendly and helpful in helping us with our bags from the nearby car park, checking us in and showing us the room. He also helped with offering late checkout, which we accepted until 12. Good view of the caldera from the terrace, clean, and soft bed. Only negative for us was the curtains were very light so by 6am the room was very bright.

Hotel Mylos was great and the balcony and bedroom view was incredible. Breakfast in the morning was simply yet filling. Best part was how accommodating the hotel desk was. Panos booked us a taxi for our last day that accommodated us to drive by and get our mandatory COVID test. There are hundreds of places to stay here in Santorini and Hotel Mylos was a great option if you’re looking.

The manager, Panos, was super helpful and friendly. He helped us rebook our excursion, carry our luggages, gave excellent tips and arrange for car transfer. The hotel was nice, clean and the the location was great.
