Nira Alpina - Member of Design Hotels

Very nice modern alpine hotel conveniently located to the Corvach Gondola. There's a public bus stop out front, which can bring you to downtown St. Moritz and other ski area lifts. The bus systems are great, but the last bus trip to the hotel is 6pm so you need to take (stupidly) expensive cabs or Ubers out of the area and it is remote. A 4 minute cab ride was 40 CHF (about $50 USD). Pros: Nicely appointed rooms, stunning views, excellent buffet breakfast included, quiet and restful, clean, friendly and accomodating staff and management. The spa looked nice but I didn't use it. Cons: If you want a more central location this isn't it. Property restaurants are very good but like everything in Switzerland, they are expensive.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Lage in der Nähe der Corvatschbahn war super.

Die Beleuchtung im Hotel ist an vielen Orten sehr düster. (Beim Eingang, in der Rooftop-Bar, im Zimmer). Man kann das Zimmer nicht hell beleuchten. Die Dusche war ohne Abschluss, sodass der Boden im Badezimmer überflutet wurde.
