Munta e Cara Albergo Diffuso

Very characterful rooms and very pretty village. Parking OK ( not hotel owned ) but you really must be mobile to stay here. All the rooms are only accessible by walking and that is up and down steep cobbled streets and paths. This does add to the charm and also of course makes it peaceful. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, but would suggest, if there is any mobility problem ( even just a bit unsteady on your feet ) check which room would be suitable. We had the lovely owl suite, but there were 4 very steep steps up to the "front door" and then very steep stairs in the suite between the different levels. This did make for great character but do check if a particular room is OK for you.

Romantica location, estrema gentilezza del personale, stanze molto belle e suggestive, colazione ottima. Segnalo che la dislocazione delle stanze e delle aree comuni (reception, sala colazione,etc) può essere difficoltosa per chi ha problemi di deambulazione. Peccato che la pulizia, apparentemente impeccabile, sia carente nei punti non a vista: x raggiungere l'interruttore della lampada da comodino mi sono ritrovata la mano avvolta da ragnatele

We were expecting a nice little Italian hotel, but rather this is a collection of rooms scattered around the town. The check-in process was poor, as we couldn't find the reception and there are signs for the various rooms scattered around town. Breakfast was not very good and our shower was broken. The room itself was pleasant and located near the centre of the town. We tried to book two activities, which were suggested to us on a list provided by the hotel, but neither were available. I'd say the room was poor value for money.

Personne pour nous accueillir. Clé des chambres laisser dans la boîte aux lettres. Parking éloigné de l'hôtel. Chambre disperser dans le village!! très atypique. Suite décevante car pas propre ou moins jolie que les chambres standard.

Apricale is an amazing village, but due to the extremely steep and rocky streets, we do not recommend it for anyone with mobility issues. The Albergo Diffuso is a relatively new concept that allows small villages to provide hotel space in multiple locations scattered throughout the village without having a large central hotel. The buildings containing hotel rooms were clean and in excellent condition; the rooms were clean, nicely furnished, and surprisingly well appointed. We highly recommend a visit to Apricale. Be sure to eat at one of the local restaurants. We tried two of them and found the food and service to be superb.

Large family booked into several rooms throughout Apricale for several nights. Not one complained about anything related to the lodgings and service from Muntaecara. Rooms, and breakfast rooms were exclusively appointed, and all the staff we met were super friendly and service minded. The village itself is laid out with really old narrow multi-staircase alleys, and you gain only get to very few locations if your have difficukty walking. I am 63 yo male, and there is a video showing me huffing ad puffing going up to our rooms...but hey that is part of the total experience..

Un grand dépaysement, surprise que l’on ait pu garder de nos jours un tel trésor vivant. Les mots me manquent pour exprimer mon émotion en parcourant ces ruelles. A recommander pour les amoureux de vieilles pierres

Fantastic location and really lovely area and village. Friendly. Good food in restaurants at reasonable prices
