Boffin Lodge

We loved especially the breakfast. The staff was really nice, too. Very friendly. The place is an easy, pleasant walk to the center of town - and it's a lovely town center.

Great welcome and check in. Room was clean and beautiful—very charming. Breakfast was delicious.

Our room was big and the beds were comfy. Breakfast buffet and hot food as well.

The Boffin lodge was great. Cooked us a nice breakfast and were super friendly. It was the perfect place to spend the night or a week.

A very nice B&B located within easy walking distance of Westport town, the Harbour, and Westport House. This B&B is a large premises with spacious bedrooms and a nicely cooked breakfast provided in the mornings. In the evenings, there's plenty of great dining options just a short walk down the hill by the waterside. Also within easy driving/cycling distance of Croagh Patrick. For cycling enthusiasts, the Great Western Greenway can be accessed from nearby, which is a very nice 40km + biking/hiking trail from Westport to Achill Island.

Everything is tired in this B&B. The mattress, pillows and quilts all need to be tossed. I didn’t appreciate active daddy long leg webs in the bathroom. The TV wouldn’t work, even after the only staff member(a sweet young girl, out of her depth) tried and tried...sounds like a long term issue. The breakfast was freshly made, but when travelling you need a good bed and bedding of a decent quality. Fresh paint also required.

Pat the proprietor was extremely helpful & friendly when checking in & getting settled in our room. Pat was also able to provide some good tips regarding restaurants down by the harbour or up in town. the room was comfortable & clean & a small fridge was provided to keep milk cold if we needed it. It was a small plastic fridge that made a bit of noise so was turned off during the night. We were asked as a courtesy to fill out a breakfast form to indicate our preference for food & a time when we would sit down to eat. It was explained that this wasn't mandatory, just that it help Pat & the staff to better prepare & cater for the guests. The food was really good & the service friendly & attentive. Would definitely stay there again.
