"Excellent"

8.0

Consigliatissimo.

"Sympatisch geführt - Lage in mitten von Wohnblocks"

8.0

Ruhige kleine Wohnung (2 Zimmer Küche Bad) wobei das 2. Zimmer zu dieser Zeit nicht genutzt war. Frühstück morgens italiensch sparsam aber o.k. (Kaffee und Toast). Ruhige Nächte, kleines Zimmer aber sauber, Bad o.k. Insgesamt Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung.

"Not bad at all"

8.0

Pros: The hosts were really nice, and tried their best to make us comfortable. Cons: Agrigento was a ghost town, even on weekends. Furthermore, the Valle Dei Templi is not worth visiting at night, since no public transit exists, including taxis.

"Easily accessible, no climbing of narrow streets"

10.0

The owner is extremely helpful, looks after proper supplies for breakfast, and is very nice and warm person. In that particular city, the location does not matter much, since B&Bs tend to be in narrow streets, with lot of climbing stairs, and no car access. His is loc ate 200 meters from the railway station, at same level, and 400 meters from bus terminals. Very quiet (no trafic). Pleasant small apartment, very clean, and convenient for short tourists stay. One can cook in the kitchen if need be. Very satisfied. Only one hint: one must pay with cash, not with credit card, but this seems to be the rule in Italy..., or at least in Sicily.

"Good family accommodation but not your typical B&B"

10.0

Although this B&B was difficult to find as it is tucked away within a large housing complex, the owner Pino was an outstanding host offering advice and supplying maps of the area. The room was large and clean and the separate kitchen with coffee maker and juicer was fantastic. This isn't your traditional B&B, it would better be described as accommodation with pastries of your choice brought to the kitchen in the morning at the time you require. This was perfect for my family and we very much enjoyed our stay.

"Spotless, brand new, great owner"

10.0

A great experience! We stayed at this pretty ground-floor apt in mid-February, & even though it was the coldest winter in 100 yrs, there were lots of potted plants and flowers growing outside our door! The apt & all of its furnishings are very new, of unusually high quality, & every inch was spotless. The bedroom area is very large, with plenty of room for the queen bed and also a twin bed. The kitchen is also large, and well furnished with equipment & "starter" food, including pasta, several breakfast cereals, olive oil, milk, cookies, and delicious, fresh Sicilian oranges. In fact, there's a brand new one-cup-at-a-time coffee maker, so that you can make espresso or a cappuccino any time you want! We also liked the fast WIFI connection, & appreciated the booklets & brochures about Agrigento in the apt. The owner, Pino, is a great host! He asked us what we might want for breakfast, and when we'd like it delivered, and voila! The next a.m., he appeared with little breakfast sandwiches and the ricotta-filled cannoli that Sicily is famous for. Pino even drove us way out to the ruins, & offered to buy us a coffee & guidebook there. Also offered to take us to the train.

"Tranquility at Tranquillo"

10.0

I stayed at this establishment for a week in January 2012, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The hospitality from the hosts was most welcoming. I recieved a lovely fresh breakfast every morning consisting of croissants with parma ham and cheese, pastries stuffed with spinach, olives and pancetta, and fresh bread. The room was immaculate and I had the use of a well maintained kitchen. It's also close to the main centre (about a ten minute walk) and the local train and bus stations. If you stay in Agrigento I would seriously suggest staying here.
