Oceanic Villa

We spent two nights at the Oceanic in February. Although the rooms are in serious need of upgrading (generally run down), we found them to be spacious and clean. Bonus is a bath. The staff were great and the breakfast adequate. The location in Grand Bay is good, right in the bay and you can easily walk into the town. the Indian restaurant which is part of the hotel has great food and is a must. This hotel is good value for the money paid. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Tämä hotelli ei vastannut milläänlailla hotels.comin antamaa kuvaa hotellista. Huoneessa ilmastointi oli sama kun tukossa oleva imuri. Huoneen tallelokero oli syliin nostettavissa, eikä sitä saanut lukkoon. Huoneen kalustus ja sisustus oli vanhaa. Sängyt nitisi ja ulko-oven alta paistoi valo sisään. Henkilökunta oli erittäin töykeää ja ongelmissa, vastuu ei kuulunut kellekään. Aamiaisella oli vain kuivaa leipää ja satunnaisesti saattoi olla hedelmäsiivuja ja marmeladia. Lisäksi viimeisenä aaamuna ruokatilassa juoksi iso ROTTA!!! Hyi mikä kokemus. Luvattu langaton netti ei toiminut

What an odd experience. Be aware there are other hotels in this area (same street) that have similar names. 1 is high-end, 1 is closed and this one. The location is on the same side as the beach and it overlooks the bay. It's not your typical hotel with a lobby. The reception is more like a of a house which is connected to the main house that the owners live in. They are very nice people. Do not book based on the photos. Totally inaccurate. A beautiful pic of a sofa/lounger on the internet actually had laundry hanging on it and was kept in a garage type area in the main house. We adapted to the disappointment. it's located within easy walk to main township.

жуткий .грязный отель с насекомыми -хозяева индусы.далеко от центра и моря -нужно брать такси .Я уехала оттуда через 3 дня .на 2 недели раньше и сняла аппартаменты в другом месте поближе к морю.никому не посоветую этот отель.

kompletter Reinfall..3,5 Sterne..vorsätzliche Täuschung..max.1 Stern. war selber jahrelang Reiseleiter..also weiss ich wovon ich spreche.. schlimmer als eine Zumutung..es gibt keine rezeption,wlan funktioniert gar nicht, hotel wird betrieben von einer indischen Familie, die auch dort alle wohnen.. lasst euch nicht von dieses eine Bild tauschen..so gibt es nur ein Zimmer.. der Rest ist die reinste Katastrophe..schwarzer schimmel an decken, wänden und überall im Badezimmer, duschkabine ohne tür, klodeckel kaputt, dusche kaputt, matrazenschoner fehlanzeige und und und.. richtigen Bilder folgen bald..Man hat uns reingelegt
