Fantastic sea view room looking over the pleasant gardens and sea. Clean, tidy and comfortable bed. Used the balcony for the last of the sun. Breakfast filling and Julie kept us entertained with memories of years gone by and the dramatic events from the earthquake

Everything about Bendemere is great. The location is wonderful with remarkable views and a short walk into town. Breakfast was fruit, cereal, toast, juices, hot drinks and hot ham and cheese croissants. We couldn't have been happier.

Beautiful property with a lovely yard and spectacular views!. Room and property very clean and hostess is wonderful and most helpful. She even dropped what she was doing and gave us a ride to the train station when our taxi failed to show up. Breakfast high quality. It is a bit of a walk to get to restaurants--we enjoyed the stroll, but it could be a problem if one is mobility challenged and there without a car. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Kaikoura.

Excellent stay. Very welcoming. Spacious, clean, with excellent views of the ocean.

The house is beautiful and clean. While Kerry and Julie are both so nice as well as the breakfast.
