Boatshed Motel Apartments

Booked a small room but took an upgrade to the apartment on arrival. So pleased we did. Great location. Very friendly and very convenient

Central Mount/Papamoa in an area short on good quality accommodation....warm, clean, nice staff and really comfy beds. Good showers. Kitchen a wee bit short on gear....beds for 6 but only 4 coffee cups and 3 wine glasses.

I stayed in the big apartment upstairs with Seaview. So beautiful and comfortable and large Everything was so comfortable and the view amazing. It was very cold outside but the apartment gets all day sun and was toasty warm. Views of Mount beach, Mauao Mountain and the Papamoa Beach Hills. So gorgeous!! ORB restaurant you can see from the balcony. It’s a good place to eat and BYO Pity the spa was out of order on my stay and I wasn’t notified beforehand

Generally ut is good. Just bathroom facilities are littke old.

Room was tidy, room i had had no desk so not suitable for business if requiring a desk,found the door setup a bit odd was more of a cupboard catch system inside and slide bot lock outside.

What a delight this motel is. The welcome from Rochelle was friendly and helpful. I had forgotton to mention my disability, so she changed our room to a larger ground floor unit at no extra cost. The room was very comfortable and we were refreshed for the day ahead. We would stay there again.

Rochelle was a delight to deal with. I forgot to tell her I had a disability, but she changed rooms for us at no extra cost. This Motel is central and handy to everything we needed. We will definately book here again.

Roomy apartment Quiet location very close to Bay mall

We loved the space and comfort of the apartment. Very much like a small home. Beautiful space with lots of light and views

This property is in a great location for beach access. The road was busier than expected and the apartment did not have great noise barriers. Also there isn't air conditioning so to keep cool at night it would be ideal to keep windows open but the road noise would be challenging for sleep. Our apartment was one of those that is nearest to the road so this may be different in one of the rear apartments. The apartment could comfortably accommodate our 2 adults in 1 room, 2 kids in another, and a child in a bed in the lounge (not a pull out, a stationary single). There was also an additional single been in the master bedroom. There was a full kitchen with lots of provision (everything you need really) and a BBQ. The unit was tidy. The curtains were quite dated and quite transparent. It was difficult to get the kids to bed as it was summer and the curtains let a lot of light in. They had beach toys that the kids could borrow and the beach was lovely. This is not within walking distance to the Mt Maunganui centre or main beach. The beach was calmer than the Mt Maungani beach and great for kids, beautiful sand and water. The staff were amazing and super helpful.
