Our room was good We did find the en-suite a bit tight the vanity unit was too close to the toilet due to the size of the room we were unable to use the wc properly ? Also we had an issue with the uht milk it appeared to be off when making tea it would not desolve in the cup not pleasant we were surprised the tea making facility was not replenished we had to take our dirty cups to the bar and get fresh cups for the next day and pick up fresh milk and tea bags we felt the b&b should have at least tidied our tea making facility neither was our bin emptied during our 3day stay The breakfast we would say was excellent nice and hot

The old sawmill was beautiful, everything from the comfort of the beds, the delicious food and the friendly staff was perfect. Would highly recommend, great price.
Very pleasantly surprised and impressed with virtually every aspect of our stay at the Sawmill Inn. All of the staff were excellent' Our "dog friendly" room was perfect and suited our needs. Very clean, tidy and quiet. Food in the restaurant was superb, not just plain old "pub grub". Hat off to the Chef for his efforts. All in all we had a very enjoyable experience at the Sawmill, will happily return there and strongly recommend it.

I could not contact The Sawmills (at 9:32pm) to say that I had arrived as their phone contact number was turned off. I tried unsuccessfully for half an hour. This resulted in a wasted overall journey time of over four hours plus the cost of fuel. Very frustrating and disappointing.
