"Ideal location "

Sheila and Peter were excellent hosts with a beautiful property in a lovely location. The freshly prepared cooked breakfast was also excellent and the bed very comfortable.

Beautiful rural farmhouse setting with gorgeous views down the valley. Peaceful and quiet, the house was immaculate, charming and welcoming. We felt very well looked after by the hosts from the minute we arrived. Definitely recommend and would be pleased to stay there again in the future.

"Perfect Farmhouse B&B"

Our 3 night stay was a joy - the room, bed, breakfast and welcome just what you would want, as others have said, and great value. Peter was a socially aware host: covid secure, but not oppressively so; happy to chat, but not imposing. He knows all the good pubs for 20 miles, so ring him in advance and he'll help you book somewhere suitable. The drive over the hill to Bamburgh is beautiful, and we saw 7 hares on the old roman road up to the excellent Black Bull at Lowick; so if you like a bit of countryside, and want a general base for the area, rather than being close to one particular attraction, this is a top pick.

Fantastic views, wonderful rural location, lovely breakfast, enormous twin room.friendly and helpful proprietors.I would thoroughly recommend this lovely old farmhouse. The price was very reasonable too.

"Exceptional - "Solo Traveller""

From the moment I arrived I was extremely impressed with this b&b. I was welcomed by the owners...the initial overall impression was very clean, very smart. I had the TWEED ROOM allocated to me which was very smart, modern, clean and well laid out. Toiletries were provided, Breakfast was included in the very smart dining room and was of the highest standard. I really failed to find any negatives about this b&b, it truly was first class and I would definitely use again if in the area......
