OK for the price, some type of alarm was going off in the hall all night...luckily I had earplugs

Stayed 1 night. Simple, clean and tidy but mattress too firm for us.

Reception only covered by a wall mounted phone, fire alarm detector in bedroom covered by blue plastic bag, policy of front door being open 24/7 meant we got disturbed in the middle of the night about 2.30-3.00 by rowdy potential hotel guests shouting and trying our bedroom door. Sound insulation between floors very poor, not good at 3am. No details of taxis available at the hotel, owner gave a firms name but didn't correspond with any on the Internet. Quantity of beer cans in recycling boxes indicated someone was enjoying themselves without going far.

My friends and I stayed for one night as we were at a festival. Simple but affective and very quite.

No problems with check in. Asked for a double bed but got a twin. The shower cubicle was transparent so if 2 same sex people were sharing one would have to leave the room whilst the other showered. The toilets were along the corridor with a key pad lock but different codes. I was only given one. The room lock was a key pad, how often is this changed? The front door was left unlocked at all times. There was a problem with the plug sockets but that was repaired during the day. If fresh towels were required there was a charge for this! The fire alarm went off at 0050, no-one acted as a fire marshal. The alarm was just reset and the person smoking in the room was just told off, and no doubt lit up again. Definitely not worth £55 a night!

Worst place I've ever stayed. Avoid at all costs! 1. Try to charge for parking. 2. Wifi doesn't work. 3. Electricity switched off at 11PM. 4. Woke up to a member of staff inside my room. 5. Bed sheets had stains on them. 6. Got back after work to find they had moved my belongings to a different room. 7. On my last morning I was woken up at 8AM to tell me I had to get out of the room for the next person. The owner told me I was lucky to have a room at all because they were busy. Horrible, rude woman.

There was confusion about the reservation at check in Variable Car Parking fees! So parked on the road outside as it was free. Charges for things most hotels offer for free. Won't be stopping here again

Was only in town for a night to celebrate a wedding. The room delivered what I needed, a cosy bed for one night. The room was a little chilly, however other than that, it was a good hotel and a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. Highly recommend.

Everything about this 'hotel' was bad- do not stay there.
