Very friendly staff, dog friendly too, with dog bed, bowels and treats provided. Delicious evening meal in the bar, and exceptional breakfast. Ideally situated in the centre of Crickhowell, bijou shops to look around.

"Great place to stay to banish January’s Blues!"

Stayed at The Bear several times. The hotel bar is a place of wonder, selling the ales I really enjoy, and the available food is good and if taken by the large open fire, it’s just lovely.
