Guest House Motel Chanute

The room had bedbugs so my wife and i were bitten throughout the night, then the day we were leaving they didn't knock and just barged in the room at 9:00 am when checkout is at 11

Could not get the TV to work.

The room smelled like an ashtray. The shower head was busted where it came out the wall and one of the lights wouldn't shut off without unscrewing the bulb. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were tiny.

House keeper came every day. Staff very nice.

This motel was clean and tidy and is well maintained. Beds were clean( no bugs! I always check the mattresses). I stayed here with my dog. The a/c works great. The tub was clean and the shower worked well, good water pressure and nice and hot. It's a one-story motel. Some online sites advertised a pool but there is no pool here. Staff are friendly. Very close by to a Walmart. Fridge and microwave in like new condition and clean. I was very pleased with my stay here. Stayed 2 nights and rates are very affordable. I would recommend this motel.

No breakfast, not kept up, rooms very dated, like 40 yrs ago.. no facilities, place smelled very musty.

The roims have no reception and they didnt put the free wifi passwird on the key i had to call the office to get it.

The bathroons could use some updating because the old tubs are very dingy and stained looking.

People staying at the motel were inconsiderate and thought ot was their place to traffic new guests. The staff did nothing to stop or prevent

Overall, property not taken care of. Not enough parking. Parking not marked. Had issues with other guests being inconsiderate for no reasons. Housekeeping knocked on door every morning around 9am, due to door signage being too janky to stay on outer door. Men, not employees, stopping women to be arrogant and nosey. You get what you pay for.
