American Inn of Kinder

The room was very dirty and seemed to be unkept. They staff was rude. The hotel seem abandoned when i arrived there. It looked like a scene from a scary move. I wouldn't recommend anyone staying there.

We liked everything about it. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was super nice. We stayed 3 nights and each night we were greeted really nice and always asked if we needed anything for us just to ask. We will recommend and stay there again. Thank you!

Very dated. However, arctic AC, clean room, hot shower with great pressure and very budget friendly.

I have stayed off and on for years. But this time I had bed bugs bite me. I had 10 bites. In addition the manager came by to tell me it was almost time to check out. If i am not out by 11 then bug me otherwise leave me alone. I never had these problems with the prior management. Not sure if ill stay here again because bedbugs are no joke.

This is obviously a hotel were people come to hook up and leave. The rooms were subpar and the property is not suitable for our of town travelers.

Hot shower.

The motel was better than expected. The outside and the location lead one to think that the rooms might be on the crummy side but in fact my room wasn't bad at all. It was easy to check in, the room was reasonable clean, stuff worked. No real complaints. However, I want to warn readers that have to pass through Fenton, Loserana that the town is a speed trap. They are just waiting to bust you, collect a couple hundred dollars and shove you on your way. You can't avoid going through heading north from I10 or south from Coushatta so be careful. Give 'em a finger from me.

The room was not cleaned and when brought to the managers attention, she argued that all of her rooms were cleaned. When shown pictures, she then said, oh yea, that room wasnt cleaned. There was mold all over the bottom of the shower curtain and in the tub, the toilet was dirty, the mirrors hadnt been wiped down and had a layer of dust. We asked for two extra towels (even showing two with our fingers) and were still only given one. We were just crashing here overnight on a long roadtrip. We crashed at night and found all of this in the morning, ignoring the weird smell attributed to the room being closed up. The shower head was also only about 4 feet up. They didnt apologize or even offer a discount. Stay down the road at Kinder Inn or Super 9 if looking for a budget place to get a few hours sleep.
