Soma Palmshore Beach Resort

We were a family group of 22 persons ranging from 2 yr old to 83 yr olds. V chose this resort seeing the reviews and the view. V had booked this through make my trip app. On the day of the visit,I had contacted the property to confirm the booking and asked about rooms adjacent to each other( if possible) & with minimal discomfort to the elderly as I had seen that there is no lift in the property . 1. They could have provided us atleast two rooms for elderly in the restaurant floor or one floor above. V had our seniors lumping & struggling @ stairs each time to restaurant. 2. Our rooms were adjacent to the lobby and they were not bothered to give our group some privacy, may b because v had booked through an app. V roamed through the lobby to nearby rooms 3. Some staff needs proper training as to maintain service quality and not to b rude. One of us overheard one restaurant person asking about our group & commenting aloud to retire to rooms early at night. Definitely lacks professionalism. May b they expected another group & were not happy to see keralites. 4. Swimming pool was good, but water treatment needs to b better. V had our eyes watering. 5. Beach view from property is good and so is the gate leading to a not so private beach. 6. Restaurant is acceptable esp the breakfast complimentary buffet. V had dinner too from there though there r several options outside. 7. It's a relatively old property aand needs some work. 8. Toiletries were not there in all the rooms and had to pay 750/- extra for a brd though v had booked for 22. 9. Approach road is good and about 25 km from city. . 10. They have a lawn where v could have some group activities. Over all, the group and location made it perfect though not the stay and the staff...

SomaPalmshore is an amazing place to stay if you just want to chill out for a while. The people are first class and were always there to help. The garden and pool are really clean and well maintained. The beach at the bottom of the garden feels as if it's private because so few people go there. Sunset from the rocks will melt you.

Location, friendly staff. Reasonably good breakfast

Bed was not very comfortable. Noise aircorn. Could be more cleaner. Access to the beach was restricted due to water logging.

Excellent stay with good staff behaviour and services are also really great especially the restaurant staff is so kind and helpful that we never experienced before. Love to visit again here with friends and family anytime when I will visit again in kerela kovalam.

Excellent hotel ,lovely staff , very good location...me and my friends are visited the hotel in April, I am a part of the group exodus , we are arrived in 2 nd april. Here is good for the ayurveda treatment and relaxation 😌 .the food is delicious 😋 the restaurant staffs ranjith, reshma and jolly they are very good and keep the hospitality, the receptionist sreekath, vinod and akshay is always welcoming face and smiling face. The Guest Relation lady Anakha is smart and very helpful, the housekeeping staff always good job. then the ayurveda shop is near in reception, shopkeeper krishna is good girl. The whole ambience. It's a busy hotel at times, but it still remains quiet and tranquil. The gardens are calming, but, on a slop leading down to the sandy beach, which is really nice.

For us, we found nothing to complain about. I feel the only thing to bear in mind is that the property is well established and some rooms and bathrooms may need a little renovation work at some time in the near future.

Cottage type rooms, cleanliness of the rooms. Some of the foods are oilly, the staff are not helping. they could not give us the room in good order which we booked with much more money.

Great location, polite staff, good food and nice rooms with a view of the beautiful private beach.

Car parking is limited and not covered.
