La habitación es muy bonita

Las calles del sector son bastante sucias, sin embargo fue una experiencia recorrer ese vecindario humilde y tradicional

Nos gustó mucho, tiene un patio bonito donde nos pudimos bañar, la habitación era amplia con baño amplio y aire acondicionado. En la ducha había toallas y gel. Buen olor y la limpiaban cada día. El desayuno completo muy rico. Nos dejaron guardar allí las maletas el día que nos íbamos.

A 20 minutos del centro

Nos decepcionó profundamente nuestra experiencia en este riad. El trato del personal dejó mucho que desear desde el primer momento. Pero lo más frustrante fue que el único requisito que pedimos al hacer la reserva fue que la habitación tuviera aire acondicionado, ya que viajábamos en pleno calor. Al llegar, nos dijeron que sí había aire... pero no funcionaba. Como solución, nos ofrecieron un ventilador pequeño, completamente insuficiente para el calor que hacía. Teníamos una reserva de 5 noches, pero después de pasar una sola noche incómoda y sin descanso, decidimos marcharnos y buscar otro alojamiento. Una gran decepción. No lo recomendaríamos.

Very communicative staff, they even arranged a homemade tagine for me when I checked in late in the evening!

My toilet was a bit close to reception/ the kitchen so I felt a bit self conscious

The room, bathroom , and the entire riad

This is a beautiful Riad, a calm haven tucked away from the busy streets of Marrakech. The Riad was charming, clean and comfortable with Mustapha being the perfect host. We were welcomed by Mustapha at the gate and escorted to his lovely Riad. He made our trip perfect, offering advice and guidance on navigating the busy streets of Marrakech. He organised excursions for us and escorted us to the pick up point ensuring we got on the correct transport. We don’t speak the language and found this really helpful! Mustapha made sure we felt at home in his Riad offering the best mint tea (we tried a few and non compared) and crucial advice for a safe and enjoyable experience in Marrakech. It was our first time visiting and without his support and guidance we would have been literally lost. We would highly recommend a stay at Riad Les 5 Soeurs and if we return we would definitely stay here again!

The only down side to the property was the street noise, however given the beautiful structure of a traditional Moroccan Riad I’m unsure how this could be avoided and it certainly didn’t spoil our stay! Marrakech is a vibrant and busy city so noise is to be expected. However, I imagine the noise levels would be even greater staying closer to the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. This Riad was a 20 minute walk away from the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, which was fine for us. It is located close to the Bab Aylan gate perfect for airport transport and excursion pick ups.
