Romantik Waldhotel Mangold

Quiet location in forested region. Excellent food with elegant dining on the terrace. Easy and relaxed manner of staff. Pleasant but uphill walk through local cemetery to reach the Schloss Bensberg.

I only stayed one day and no time to enjoy forest or local town walks.

Level of detail put in breakfast preparation is magnificent.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, ruhig gelegen. Sehr freundliches Personal, die Zimmer sind gemütlich geräumig und sehr sauber. Wir kommen gerne !wieder

Das Zimmer ist frisch renoviert und ordentlich groß. Es gibt keinen Kaffee/Tee-Kocher auf dem Zimmer, was in dieser Preiskategorie eigentlich dabei sein sollte. Das Frühstück ist ordentlich, Eierspeisen werden individuell frisch zubereitet.

Breakfast excellent. The vproprietor is very friendly and helpful The dinner is excellent and beautifully served. This was the fourth time I have stayed there and the quality has been consistent throughout.

As the hotel is in a superb of Bergisch Gladbach there is nothing else around such as bars & restaurants, as the hotel is so understaffed it was very hard to find a member of staff to even get a drink. There is a municipal pool within walking distance but no discounts for hotel guests Although the room stated double bed it wasn’t Also no lift or Air conditioning, not even a fan in the room, as the temperature was over 35 degrees we were disappointed as the cost per night does not merit the amount.
