La Settima Luna Hotel

La Settima Luna was incredible. The hosts were welcoming and wonderful. The hotel is a little oasis on the island, and just relaxing on the roof terrace, in the naturally heated pool was blissful! Breakfast was great but what really made it special were the bedrooms. Large, spacious, gorgeous bathrooms. Very comfortable beds... La Settima Luna is open all year round, I would really love to come back and experience the island at a different time of year. I was able to work remotely for a day easily, the wifi was great. We rented a small car from Luigi at the harbour for the day. That got us to the hotel. We came to Lipari rather late in the season so a lot of the restaurants closed for the winter. So the car came in really handy to get to the places that were open which is close to the port. We would recommend Ristorante Il Corallo, the food and hosts were lovely.

Canneto is a small village on island of Lipari , hotel is located behind a church on main promenade .Taxi was sent by hotel to pickup at ferry once at hotel well received by Valerio who took his time to gives us out points of interest . Room very well appointed and breakfast was satisfying . Lounge room and roof top area to relax and dip pool sauna was available . Will be back Thank you OJP

Very nice, helpful and courteous staff. Quality of the property. Location. Near the beach, bus service to Lipari Town and restaurants. Easy to arrange a taxi.

There is nothing we didnt like. We were happy with everything.

The location was good in Canneto, the stuff was really nice and answered to all the questions we had.

The bathroom had now warm water, in addition it was very small.

I really loved the location of the hotel in Canneto. I thought the front desk people, especially Valerio, were fanstastic. I needed to make a hair appointment and I was able to do so with the help of the front desk person. The breakfast was simple but very nice. I also loved the roof deck with the small pool. Very peaceful.

The staff at the hotel was extremely kind and generous with their time and useful information. The communication was fantastic, they were always happy to help and answer any questions. Huge thanks to Valerio to staying in frequent contact with us in crisis (our ferry was cancelled due to weather conditions and we had to change our dates last minute) and for making some amazing local recommendations to us. The location is also very good - it's just a 2 min walk from the best beach club in the area, 1 min walk to the bus stop from which you can grab a 5 EUR return trip to the port/ old town (2023 summer price!) - the bus runs every 15 mins until 3 am (in high season) and is a fairly quick and comfortable ride so you don't need to spend money on taxis to get to town. The hotel was clean and smelled really nice (!). The breakfast is good but quite basic (yogurt, fruit, brioche, croissant, jams and a coffee of your choice) - you can pay extra for other options.

Please be mindful that the pool/rooftop is extremely photogenic when in fact it is quite small and very popular with the local birds - they are trying to keep them away but you know, nature ;) the beach is so close though and the water in the sea is almost like a pool so we really didn't mind. The hotel is NOT in the central part of Lipari town but in the beach zone (again - we were very happy with this but just worth to be aware that you need to grab a bus or make a quite drive to get to the main restaurant area and the port/marina)
