White Lanterns Motel

will never be staying here again. we paid for minimum of 3 nights stay we woke up in the morning 3 adults had a shower and our whole room was flooded. we went and spoke to admin and she said the shower was used too much and usually it is only a drop or two, the water was leaking through the bottom of the wall and under the bed all the way across the other side of the room. we had an 18 month old child and an 11 month old child there. the bathroom was full of mould and the room spelt horrible. the pool was big but very dirty. there was no kitchen area and the water we were drinking and using for babies bottles came from the bathroom sink as there was no where else to get it from. there is a bus stop right out the front which would have been great for us to get around but the room was horrible. we ended up having to pay for the night we stayed but got the rest of the money back and had to go and find somewhere else to stay for 2 nights at the last minute.

We stayed here for a week and found the owners very hospitable. The young man told us all the good places to go around Gold Coast, and the nice old lady told us was very very helpful, it was cold she happily offered us anything we needed. The location is perfect only 2 blocks away from the beach, and a bus stop right outside, the food around there is not great but it's only a short trip Into surfers. Defiantly will stay here again, the rooms were small but very clean with pay TV and free wifi!

price was really cheap for a weeks stay compared to other hotels in the area, bus stop right outside, had a pool but the fence was locked and the pool was dirty, room was small but tidy, not really suitable for a weeks stay as it didnt have kitchen facilities but for 1-2 nights stay good value but would have to go out to eat, the elderly cleaner lady was sooo nice and lovely to talk to :) outside the rooms in the carpark area smelt like cat spray
