Burleigh Palms Holiday Apartments

The host was very welcoming and helpful and responsive to our requests. The unit was clean and comfortably appointed. The pool was a nice temperature (heated but not hot). It was ground floor and had grab rails in the bathroom to suit my elderly mother's mobility needs. The rocking chairs on the patio were a nice touch. The cost was more affordable than anything else in the general area.

This is a refurbished, older property and there were some access challenges for our mobility impaired family member, with only driveway or stair access to the basement car park and the walkway to the beach also has stairs so she was not able to use this. While the location is very central, the vehicle entry/exit via the driveway is directly onto the Gold Coast highway which is heavily trafficked. We were able to manage, but it may be good to be aware of these factors when considering if this facility will suit.

This place was big, ground level and we weren’t in it much. It was also easy to keep clean. It’s in the centre of town with a walk to the beach. But good value for money.

There is so much accomodation in this area that for around about the same price you could get a newer premises and possibly one with a view. And possibly one with a view out the bedroom. Be mindful that Burleigh heads is full of low cost burgers & chips places. Even the surf club has “youthful” food. We couldn’t get the garage door to open after hour. In any case it was necessary to get out of the car…Hey..it’s raining. If you want the to freshen up bath linen you gotta do it yourself in the washing machine and dryer. (waiting…waiting..waiting) The coffee was the old school sachet stuff that is unpalatable. The full kitchen has enough to get you by.

Great location, close to the beach and restaurants. Spacious and clean apartment well equipped.

Traffic and construction noise. There's lots of roadworks happening everywhere. The apartment was fine for us, but a bit tired and basic.

Lovely pool area and very clean accommodation

Road works noise all night every night. Traffic, congestion, hard to get in and out of due to being located right on the set of traffic lights.
