Burleigh Surf Apartments

Great location, very practical for the family. Loved lots of appliances and cutlery. Layout was lovely to overlook the water and close to facilities

Needs better drainage, toilet wouldn’t flush everything with one flush, when showering the water hovered in there staking a long time to drain. Stayed 3 nights and only had one garbage bags, 1 dishwasher and washing detergent, expecting all dishes to be clean or in dishwasher as leaving. Recommended providing 1 of each per night staying. Hadn’t had a deep clean in a while with sand near and under Loungeroom rugs etc.

Loved the indoor pool and spa! The apartment was also really lovely!

Apartment we stayed is in need of an upgrade! Carpet throughout the unit looked old and had stains. Blankets did not look clean. Bathroom was very old, with taps that didn’t work properly . Ended up with lots of insect bites during a 3 night stay

Location

The room we had 8A was in need of lots of repairs- bathroom walls rotten and mouldy. Walls dirty, large stains in the carpet in every room. This apartment is in much need of repair and renovations. Cleanliness was lacking. We have stayed here 5 times over the last ten years this is the worse apartment we have ever had.

We liked the location of the property we loved the Indoor pool.

How we booked a two bedroom Executive apartment with a Double and two singles beds to arrive and only have two double beds for four adults. We were told to use the couch as the Receptionist said they were booked out , we had booked nine months ago so we could get what we wanted and paid for. We did not want anyone sleeping on the couch as it would be inconvenient for the rest of the family, our room was changed but this had an impact on another family member as we got there room they needed for mobility access better shower access with a walker they also had booked Nine months ago. I cannot understand why we didn’t get what we had booked for in the first place then there would have never been a problem.

The apartment was spacious. The location was great. Walking distance to supermarket, chemist,coffee shops and North Burleigh Surf Club. The indoor and outdoor pool was great with an outdoor shower for washing off coming in from the beach. Nice steam room. The kitchen had all the crockery, cups and cutlery we needed (except for an egg flip). Beds were comfortable with clean bedding and bath towels. Loved having the balcony that looked over at the beach (the view from third floor was still good).

It was very dated. Furnishings tired and old. Black mould stains in showers - they were clean just stained. There were no toiletries provided. Only a single dishwashing detergent sachet and bin bag - you need to bring your own (we did ask for more and were told ‘not serviced apartments’). Need to be really careful with keys - cost $250 to replace if lost. No towels provided for pool.

The position is great

Everything was great. I would have liked to see a few more cooking utensils, as I like to cook my own meals.

Facilities were good and location.

Not clean, old, contained only 1 Aircon, other belongs left so assumed not cleaned prior. Told yeah you have one of the non renovated ones. Given the wrong car park and hassled to move the car.
