Staff were pleasant

Accessibility is limited - some rather steep steps to get to some of the rooms. As for the room I was in (I requested on arrival a ground floor room and was initally suggested to me that I 'upgrade'! This was swiftly queried and no additional cost was charged. The room I was in (ground floor) was in the stable blook, good size, however very limited with plug points - the lighting is poor - two small lamps and an overhead. The lamps gave out very little in the way of lumens! I had been travelling for work, however the wi-fi was non existent unless I was in the bar/dining area and there was no mobile signal at all.

Easy access and good sized room with comfy bed. Good, sensibly priced food and drink. Welcoming staff.

Not a didnt like but if you struggle with stairs request a ground floor room when you book.

The hotel is a lovely little place. Room Was spotless and very comfy had a great sleep after standing at a concert in the rain. The lady on reception was so friendly also.

View of the angel or the north sat in gardens and close to Beamish musuem. Food was really nice also

No one around this morning when checking out, wanted get breakfast before leaving but no one was around

Location was the purpose for the booking

I'd be disappointed if that was my Bridal suite room. Crammed with very dated wardrobes that didn't blend with the decor, felt dumped in The whole building and surrounding could do with TLC
