"Pleasant place to stay"

Chalet separate from other units on site. Generous room size and separate bedroom. Close to the centre of the village. Large area to park car. Quiet surroundings. Comfortable bed. Good light block out curtains on windows (but not on the entry door).

The lights along the driveway are far too bright and we could not block it coming through our entry door to lighting up our bedroom. The remote for the cable TV was complicated and we could not access the WiFi through the TV. I found the owner/host to be abrupt and a little unfriendly. Our host could have told us he had coins for the laundry washer and dryer when we asked about using it. Lint filter on washing machine had never been cleaned and was clogged and smelly (we cleaned this out).

"A beautiful, peaceful, comfortable place to stay right in the middle of Hanmer Springs."

This is just a great place to stay. The chalets are so cute and cosy, with everything you need. They are clean and you can tell that the people running it take pride in every aspect of running the motel. Waking up to tui song is testament to how peaceful the place is.

Nothing to add, they exceeded my expectations and I loved staying there.

Beautiful spot on the hill, it was very private and comfortable, very close to everything, within walking distance.
