"An enjoyable and very relaxing stay"

This hotel is ideally situated on the edge of Ambleside within easy walking distance to the town an d the Windermere ferry. The included breakfast provided a wide choice to suit all pallates

All of it, from the staff (knowledge, friendliness, assistance), the quality of the hotel, amazing food.....we couldn't fault it. The quality of the food at dinner and selection of wines were excellent. We couldn't fault it.

The food was right on the button…this is our second time staying at Rothay Manor and top marks…and yes we will be back

I have an electric car ….charging was a challenge …it would be easier just to use your credit card instead of having to download an App.

Nothing. The only thing I would say is there were a couple of stains on the bath mat and toilet roll

"Lovely relaxing stay - perfect hotel"

A brilliant 2 night stay at Rothay Manor in March 2025. The food was excellent, breakfast and evening meal, and the staff made us feel so welcome, going above and beyond to make our stay special. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxury stay a 5 minute walk from the centre of Ambleside. Thank you so much!
