Hori Balconata 2.0 Banqueting & Accommodations

We stayed only 1 night thankfully. Our room was good. Nothing to complain about. The rest of the hotel looks old and tired. Tatty flags flying on poles, light bulbs on their main hotel sign not replaced, the list goes on. The area the hotel stands and the town had a very unsafe and uncomfortable feel about it. This is the first time where we felt the need to cover and chain up our motorbike throughout our whole Europe trip. The food is the worst we'd eaten in any hotel or restaurant. I had to return my evening meal because it was undercooked pork. Breakfast was awful and restaurant staff miserable. I would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel con camere spaziose e funzionale anche se un po' datate come pure i bagni, ma nel complesso accettabile. Per sfortuna nel giorno del nostro soggiorno era in corso un matrimonio che si è protrato fino a notte con musica e fuochi d'artificio.

Stayed only for one night, lucky! Very old rooms not fresh Breakfast was the most simple I have seen in Italy Old bread no butter no coldcuts at all. Even coffee was bad. Only good thing was that there was plenty of parking.

Disappointing

4* hotel .... but not to UK 4* expectations. We asked for a room with: a nice view - got the restaurant sign right outside our window; quiet room - we were above the entrance to a party area that went on till midnight. Parts of the hotel were very nice, some bits needed a little more thought - ducting for the air con, was in the way of the window shutter so unable to open any further (bathroom); water in the fridge had been opened - so did not attempt to drink it. The staff were very nice and helpful, fresh fruit & bottle of water delivered to our room "for your anniversary" .. but every room get it when they check in, still a nice refreshing touch. Free Wi-Fi in the room .. we were unable to get it to connect.

Ho prenotato per rilassarmi e distendermi, tuttavia ciò non è accaduto. In camera si sentivano diversi rumori provenienti dai piani superiori e la sveglia è stata traumatica. Prima delle 8 si sono avvertirti rumori di spostamenti di mobili e grida tra inservienti che litigavano per la pulizia delle camere. Poi è accaduto l'imponderabile: una signora delle pulizie ha aperto la porta, malgrado fosse chiusa a chiave!!!

This is a hotel lost in the past. Although the receptionist was cheerful and helpful, and there was parking, the whole place looks aged and past its best. Good points were that the bed was large and good and air con worked well. Good location. But breakfast staff were useless and there is no view or outlook from the lower ground floor area wher it is held. €75 for B&B in late July 2015 for a couple.

Lovely hotel and helpful staff. Some nice touches included complimentary fruit and water in the room. My booking claimed to include a breakfast, apparently this wasn't so. Eventually a nominal charge was added and agreed and overall the hotel was great. Lucera is also a great little place for an explore, if coming by train from Foggia stay on until the last stop as there are 2 Lucera stations labelled identically!!

We spent a week here and loved it. The staff was great, the room was great, and the location was amazing! We walked from here all over Florence, we at at nearby restaurants, and we relaxed on the patio. To us, this is what a trip is all about. We were close enough to the attractions, but in an area where you feel like a local.
