Großzügige Zimmer. Spitzenlage miten in der Stadt. Kleines, aber feines Frühstücksbuffet.

Bilder vom Bad sind nicht immer konform mit der Realität (nur ein Zimmer hat eine Dusche, die ebenerdig ist). Aber auf Nachfrage und wenn frei, dann bekommt man es. Öffentlicher Parkplatz ist in der Nähe, die Parkplatzsuche kann aber schon mal ne halbe Stunde dauern...

Sehr gemütliches kleines Zimmer, alles da was man für eine Nacht braucht.

Hotel Kolberbräu is located right at the main street. The hotel offers free parking at the nearby P11 parking area. This is a historical location that comes with both positive and negative sides. We felt there were more negatives, but the breakfast was excellent. We also liked the restaurant downstairs.

The hotel starts to be quite worn out. Our large room had only one radiator and despite adjusting the heating the room felt cold. Needed extra clothing for sleeping. Hallways and doors look and feel old and worn. Pillows seemed to be the cheapest one can buy, with no extra pillows available. The toilet light and fan were rigged to the same light switch and the fan was very noisy, meaning one could not go to the toilet during night without waking up others accommodating in the same room. Having a hotel in the old building is always hard to do properly, but so many basic things were off in this place. For the 180€+ paid for one night, we felt we got a poor value in this accommodation.

Старинный отель со старинной мебелью на исторической торговой улице с красивыми зданиями, и рождественская ярмарка под окнами - сказка! В ресторане очень вкусные и сытные блюда, даже блюда детского меню недетского размера :D

Входная дверь в номер и старые деревянные рамы на окнах - красиво и аутентично, но требуют ремонта и мало изолируют от шума.

Very good location. Very clean and confortable room. Very tasteful and good breakfast and staff in the restaurant.

What I didn't like was that when I asked for a late check out the receptionist lied me that a new group was coming tomorrow and she could only let me stay for 30 minutes in plus, not thinking that this could be checked on booking, which I did and my room was free for the next day...It would have been enough just to say that it is impossible.

Super zentrale Lage, das Essen abends im Restaurant war ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Das Posthotel Kolberbräu glänzt mit seiner zentralen Lage. Daher haben wir uns für das Hotel entschieden. Im Nachhinein wäre wohl ein etwas zentrumferneres Hotel die bessere Wahl gewesen. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, unser Zimmer ist ein gutes Beispiel dafür. Von dem versprochenen Doppelbett war nichts zu sehen. Wir hatten zwei Einzelbetten, die man nicht mal ganz zusammen schieben konnte (siehe Foto). Wir hatten vorher die Befürchtung, dass das Fenster nicht schalldicht sein könnte. Dem war aber nicht so. Wider Erwarten ließ das Fenster keine Geräusche von außen in das Zimmer dringen. Jedoch konnte man von der Zimmertür leider nicht das gleiche sagen. Hellhörigkeit sollte bei der Zimmerbeschreibung ganz weit oben stehen. Das Badezimmer ist wohl eher ein Zimmerchen, da sich die Tür nicht mal ganz öffnen lässt – die Toilette steht im Weg. Um in dieses Räumchen zu kommen, muss man außerdem erst mal eine Stufe überwinden. Dies ist für Menschen, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind nicht von Vorteil. Die Hellhörigkeit konnte nur noch dadurch übertroffen werden, dass das Zimmermädchen morgens um acht plötzlich in unserem Zimmer stand. Hier funktioniert die Kommunikation zwischen Rezeption und Zimmerservice überhaupt nicht. Sowas ist ein absolutes No go und führt auch hier zu Punkte Verlust. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr überschaubar. Es ist natürlich nicht leicht, sonntags frische Backwaren zu bekommen, aber es gäbe die Option, diese frisch aufzubacken und nicht die Backwaren vom Vortag aufzuwärmen. Die Damen vom Frühstück Service waren anscheinend so beschäftigt mit Kaffeetrinken, dass man seinen zweiten Kaffee aktiv in der Küche bestellen musste. Es wird damit beworben, dass der Parkplatz mit inbegriffen wäre. Vor Ort ergab sich aber eine etwas komplexere Situation: besagter Parkplatz ist ein öffentlicher Parkplatz, der an einem Samstagnachmittag natürlich etwas stärker frequentiert ist.
