KOLBERBRÄU Posthotel und Gasthaus

Das Zimmer hat eine gute Lage.

Das Hotel war nur mit Problemen mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Angabe der Straße und der Nummer ist nicht korrekt bei Booking angegeben. Ich hätte mir einen Hinweis zur Erreichbarkeit gewünscht. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war altmodisch, hatte eher Altenheimcharakter und war teilweise lieblos und nicht gepflegt. Die abgestoßene Türrahmen waren schon übel.

Ein Duschvorhang in einem Hotel geht gar nicht

Für eine Nacht auf dem Weg von München nach Venedig ist es schön, ein eigenes Zimmer und ein gutes Frühstück zu haben. Beides erfüllt.

Das allabendliche Rauswaschen des Wandershirts und Trocknen war nur eingeschränkt möglich. Aber wenn man sich zu Helfen weiß... ;-)

I had trouble parking near the hotel. Google maps takes me to the front of the hotel, yet the road is closed off. I was tired after a day of driving. That was inconvenient. It was not like that last year.

Smack in the centre of town. Lovely building. Excellent pea soup at dinner - outstanding even… Large rooms with decent bathroom and the showers were v good. Just what you need after a day of motorcycling.

The ground floor was obviously more grand in its time. Now rather tired and unused. Wine list limited.
