"Amazing room, great food and staff were lovely"

The location was fantastic for Taunton and the staff were amazing. So helpful, lovely and accommodating. We were staying for my son’s exams in Taunton school and the staff could not have been more helpful to him and I.

Staff are wonderful, friendly and welcoming and rooms are very comfortable. Ideal location for the reason I make the trip. Cannot fault it.

"Great little pub with rooms for our one night stop over on our way South."

Cosy atmosphere, very friendly & fun staff.Parking at the back. Tasty dinner. Very accommodating owner who accepted our 3 additional unplanned guests for dinner.

The stairs were ok for us but could be a little hard for older or less able guests. Breakfast could include the use of non dairy milk & greek yogurt.

The Hatch is a lovely pub with a big car park which is always a bonus. We stayed there as we were attending a party at the village hall which was only a few minutes walk away! Couldn’t fault anything, thank you

The evening meal was lovely especially the dessert and the breakfast the next morning was delicious, the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The room could do with a little TLC but it was comfortable and clean.

Really nice little pub and good, comfortable rooms. I think I was upgraded which was a nice touch and I had a lovely bathroom with a freestanding bath. The bed was very comfortable, room a nice temperature and there was fresh milk available in a fridge outside the room. Breakfast was lovely. Pretty location.
