The location, staff and room were really nice. The whole place was very clean.

Whilst the food was beautifully cooked and presented, even with a side dish I was still hungry after my main course.

Lovely, quiet location with a very peaceful atmosphere. The staff were extremely polite and professional throughout our stay. The food was top-notch — fresh, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious. We would happily return and highly recommend it to others

"A gem of a village pub"

From the initial welcome to the comfortable room and dining room bar, all our expectations were exceeded. This is a gem of a village pub and one we’d certainly return to if in the area again. We were there on Thursday, when their kitchen is closed but instead wood fired, stone baked pizzas are cooked to order on site - delicious. Breakfast was a delight but the staff make this place the success it obviously is; thank you

"Fantastic stay with amazing hosts!"

Location was perfect, close to where I needed to be with great parking. Had dinner in the restaurant which was beyond amazing, along with breakfast which was delicious with lots to choose from! Beautiful rooms, very cosy and comfortable!

Fabulous breakfast, amazing shower and pet friendly. Lots of good walks close by.

Located a little out of the way but as it’s a public house and does food then not a big issue.

"A must stay."

This is a place we would certainly revisit if ever the opportunity presented itself. The hosts were wonderful, the atmosphere is relaxed and they accommodated our late arrival for breakfast with a smile. We were even offered a wash for our wet sport clothes and our running shoes were put in front of the fire without us asking. The breakfast was lovely and the dining room allowed us a quiet space to catch up on some work.
