The Engine Inn

The bed was very hard like sleeping on a wooden board

Though we went little late for the breakfast it was tasty and good. Unfortunately coffee machine didn't work for the coffee but anyhow we managed. Very friendly staff is the key feature

The family room had a bad smell due to neaby dirty water stream .However upon our requested to new room it happened with any puzzles.

Friendly, clean, helpful but not overbearing. Couldn't have been better.

More vegan options for breakfast would have been nice, ut they did everything they could to accommodate me.

Room was large Clean and provided very good Tea, Coffee and hot chocolate and proper Milk. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and helpful - Locals inviting and very welcoming. Very Dog Friendly

The place needs a refurb but good value for money. Outside area could do with a bit of a tidy and would benefit from some pots to brighten the areas up and make it look more attractive and inviting to customers.

A quaint friendly little local pub with B&B, the en suite room was clean and comfortable with a view over the front of the pub and village. There was not much space for parking, and they didn’t cater much if you have a gluten free diet, but tried their best to accommodate , overall a very nice stay, would definitely return and recommend

Breakfast was ok, the one evening meal I got was good, rooms are clean

Service is very poor, owner very unhelpful and distant in mind, seemed to be under the influence of something. Mattresses on bed were very old and uncomfortable. Restaurant not open every evening and was not told this, so unable to get anything to eat second night as shop across road was also closed
