"Good place to stay"

Late booking but all available and friendly, helpful reception when we arrived. Lovely rooms, clean and warm. Lovely breakfast too

Love the pub, great beer!

Had we known before booking that they have stopped serving meals until March '24 (!!!), we would have found elsewhere to stay. They're able to provide a decent breakfast though... 🤔 this I feel should have been stated within their advert on booking.com

Everything the Atmosphere during our stay was so welcoming,Jonathan & team were fantastic making our stay so Lovely 😍 we didn't have a main meal this time but the breakfast & scotch eggs were fantastic 😋 we will definitely be going back in the future as we absolutely love this place & looking forward to seeing Jonathan & the team again 😁

"Good with a few tiny niggles"

Nice pub/hotel close to cartmel. Hot showers clean towels and bed linen. Hosts lovely and friendly, really helpful and accommodating with a last minute change to our booking.

Rooms tired in places, noise from the pub downstairs very noisy and didn’t calm down till midnight. No menu provided at breakfast so didn’t know what was available.
