"The perfect place when visiting Clifton"

Lovely old house in a beautiful location friendly staff who are really helpful and care. Car park at rear of house and really lovely breakfast, oh and a comfy bed.

"Etape d'une nuit et visite de la ville Bristol et Clifton"

Chambre parfaitement bien équipée - l'emplacement est idéal à 5 minutes du centre du Clifton village et 30 minutes du centre de Bristol ( a pieds) et calme - il y a des places de parc à disposition Très bon petit déjeuné type continental.

"Good but not great stay"

Location was excellent and close to Clifton Village, bridge etc. All in walking distance.

Room was extremely small and the end of the bed little space to walk around. Good to know in advance of extra flight of extremely narrow steps.

Great location. Parked the car for the duration of the stay. Bus stop outside hotel, if needed. We walked everywhere, a good selection of cafes, restaurants and independant shops nearby. Very quiet considering the central locaton.

Stairs above first floor are steep. No lift, this in the property description.

The staff were all very welcoming. When I raised an issue regarding the TV, they offered me an alternative room (although I declined this offer). The location was excellent for exploring the Clifton area. The number 8 bus ran regularly from right outside, which goes to central Bristol and Temple Meads Station.

There was no air-conditioning but fans were provided.

We have stayed here many times over the years. This hotel has so much going for it. We moved away so now it's a great place to stay to catch up with friends in a location we love. We no longer have the full English breakfast but it was always good value when we did. We have already booked a further 2 nights stay. The location is great for walking everywhere and we do. However the hotel is Near a bus stop that travels in both directions of Clifton. The hotel has a small charge for parking on site. Late check-in / out is available on request. I believe 11am check out is a reasonable time though.
