Raglan Sunset Motel

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, friendly welcome, nice room, warm, well-furnished and well stocked, very clean. Will definitely stay here again.

This motel was suitable for our family having a short trip to Raglan. It's presentable, and has good room service, and is warm in winter. It's not overpriced. The spa was very hot (loved it), although the spa environment isn't flashy, but it was okay. It's right in the town centre, which was great, as the town has superb cafés and wee shops.

Handy location to all cafes and bars. Tidy very clean room with large bathroom. Very comfortable bed with great pillows. Loved the convenience of the location. Downside is road is quite noisy and motel close to busy intersections/corner. Plus we needed to use the heater in the room which was extremely noisy for a small heater. This we set on by a thermostat, which came off and on all night. I certainly think a heat pump would be better. BUT the noisiest thing of all was the bathroom extractor fan!!!! Oh boy thought the bathroom was going to self destruct!!!

the room is quite functional - it had everything we needed and was neat and tidy. easy booking and check-in. good communication. the location is great - in the middle of everything. the bathroom was dated and could do with an update but was perfectly functional, clean and tidy. we book here everytime we come to Raglan. Always a good experience.

Because we stayed at this complex years ago and loved it we chose it again! obviously new owners/ operators The unit was clean and tody however it had no air conditioner, just a small heater works on 1 hr timer There was no on site manager after hours and on arrival reception wasn’t very friendly towards tourists from overseas! i would not stay there or recommend

For the first time ever after staying in motels/hotels around the world we received a text more than 2 hours before check in time to say our room was ready and we were welcome to check in early. Nice touch. We had a studio room which was well presented with a very large comfy bed. The location couldn’t be better as it is central and very close to shops and supermarket . It was a hot day and air con would have helped. Limited tv channels. But overall a pleasant stay.

Conveniently located to "where the action is" in Raglan. Small, but comfortable room, although ours faced east and was very warm when we arrived, with limited ability to cool it. The hot tub was a welcome amenity. Good value. Would stay again.

We had a very spacious room with an extremely comfortable bed and wonderful pillows. There was a small kitchenette with kettle, toaster, dishes and supplies to make coffee. We also had a small fridge. There was no air conditioning but they did provide a floor model. Large bathroom. Perfect location in town.

The room was very spacious and clean. Nice courtyard area for everyone to use. Located very close to shops, cafes and restaurants but still quiet. Bathroom had a shower and bath. Staff was friendly. We really enjoyed our stay in Raglan and would recommend Raglan Sunset Motel.

This is the second time we have stayed at this motel. Our room was clean nicely presented with nice furniture and the bed was comfortable. The units have everything you need. Just around the corner from the center of the village and very close to a Four Square Market. Highly recommend this motel to stay at.
